Picture of Sebastian Röhrich (GB/D 1997)

Sebastian graduated the German-English link in 1997 with tears in his eyes and followed the trend of the time into consulting after a reasonable holiday. Projects at the competence centre InfoCom (Information & Communication) at Roland Berger evolved from "Multi-Media" over "e-Commerce" to "e-Business", mainly the development and build-up of e-somethings for big retailers in Germany.

After two and half years of more or less happy consulting, he left Berger to help build up eCircle AG, an Internet startup. Originally a community platform for group communication, eCircle evolved into a leading player for digital direct marketing. Sebastian took over product management of the technology products originally as a project and ended up doing the job for nearly 4 years.

After a short stint in a high-level cryptography company, he is now working for Ciao, another company starting as a community site, which is now the leading price comparison platform in Europe. Sebastian is responsible for product management, business and content development and community support.

Apart from work, he tries to maintain a reasonable level of sports (mainly cycling, pumping irons and swimming), going out (as long as the culture level is not too high), reading and still playing computer and other games.
